Rule 5 for Leaders: Empower Your Leaders
It is extremely easy to get caught up in wanting to help everyone. By doing this, you indirectly remove your coach’s power. If you help an employee in a different manner than their coach, they can begin to lose respect for their coach. Many times you may be fulfilling a need they are not receiving. You may gain respect from your employee, but you lost respect from your leader. Remember, you cannot achieve success alone. You need each of your leaders. They can make or break you.
